Three McDonald’s employees from the Dowerglen branch went above and beyond to help a man in need this morning; a witness to their kindness caught the moment and shared it with Good Things Guy.
Edenvale, South Africa (04 November 2022) – Michelle Michie Graça was having a coffee across the road from the Dowerglen McDonald’s this morning when she noticed a man walking through the parking lot without a shirt on, in the pouring rain! She wasn’t the only person to see him, three staffers from the McDonald’s rushed out to offer the man some warmth and comfort.
Between the three ladies, they managed to find a shirt to put on the man. They tried to get him indoors but from what Michelle could see, he was insistent on remaining outside. The three ladies chatted with him and before long, one had come back out with a meal and warm drink for him.
Michelle explained that it all happened so fast but the moment absolutely gripped her. She knew that these ladies had acted selflessly and with such conviction, so as to be sure the man wasn’t wandering through the cold another minute longer.
This act of kindness is one of those unseen moments that are performed with genuine care for another human. We are sure none of the staffers realised their kind deed had been witnessed or that it would be so moving.
Michelle, herself is in awe of how kind and gentle each of the ladies was towards the man in need, saying the act absolutely restored her faith in humanity.
