Global (12 February 2024) – For all the South African fans (and everyone around the globe), the NFL has just made Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show “free” to watch on YouTube!
The stage was set, the lights were bright, and the anticipation was palpable as R&B sensation Usher took centre stage at Sunday’s Super Bowl LVIII halftime show. Accompanied by a lineup of music icons including will.i.am, Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and H.E.R., Usher delivered a performance that left audiences in awe and had fans buzzing long after the final notes faded away.
From the moment Usher’s involvement in the halftime show was announced last September, excitement levels soared.
“It’s an honour of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher shared at the time. And true to his word, he did not disappoint.
“You know, everybody says they want to win a Grammy, or they want to win an Oscar, or a Tony, or an Emmy. A Super Bowl is something that everybody wants to play,” he expressed. “And here it is. It happened.”
Joined by special guests Alicia Keys and H.E.R., Usher’s setlist was a journey through his illustrious career, featuring chart-topping hits and unforgettable collaborations.
