Who doesn’t love a Ryan Reynolds cameo? We adore his sense of humour and while this advert doesn’t quite highlight his other features, his wit and smooth voice add to the new Christmas advert.

Global (21 November 2023)Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney and Dawn French joined forces for the new M&S food advert. Ryan and Rob play a pair of mittens while Dawn French is the Festive Fairy that brings the pair inside to get warm.

Straight off the bat, Ryan Reynolds shares a butt joke, or at least tries to! The advert is filled with a few witty comments and jokes, all of which add an extra smile to the dial.

Oh gosh, remember last year when Ryan Reynolds starred in a Christmas movie alongside Will Farrell and left us with an earworm while on set? No? Well after watching the advert below, check that out here as an added bonus.

“Say HELLO to Right & Left Mitten, also known as none other than Hollywood superstars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney! Festive Fairy Dawn French has waved her magic wand once again and brought these two new characters to life to bring mischief and fun as they experience an M&S Food Christmas for the FIRST TIME! Because… This is not just Christmas!” – M&S
