Kayden Mulder has a bright future as a performer and sportsman; however, a few tough times have put his schooling career at risk; his mom hopes to get a helping hand in keeping his dream alive.
Drakensberg, South Africa (04 July 2022) – Kayden Mulder was scouted to audition for Drakensberg Boys in 2018. He successfully auditioned and was enrolled to grade 4 in 2019. Over the next two years of his life, he blossomed, but sadly he lost his father, and his mom was unable to cover his school fees on her salary alone.
His mom, Jadean Frame, has reached out to us in the hopes of keeping her son’s dream alive. As Kayden is on a 14% DBCS scholarship, she is responsible for coming up with the rest of his tuition for the next two academic years. Being on a single income, she hopes the kindness of others can keep Kayden in school.
Due to being in arrears, Jadean needs to cover some of the costs before the new school term so that Kayden can go back to school. As it stands, he will not be able to return for the next academic school term.
“During his almost four-year stay at DBCS, Kayden has thrived, and grown from strength to strength. He has shown great strength and resilience, and has managed to create a bright future for himself.
Kayden’s first love is sport, and he continues to excel as a sportsman while maintaining a rich cultural schedule, and an above-80% academic average. He is a well-rounded achiever, who is extremely motivated.
During his time at DBCS, Kayden has placed as a Top 3 achiever, and has received multiple awards for academics, sports, and music. Kayden is also a top mathematics student.
Kayden is currently on a 14% DBCS scholarship, and requires further financial sponsorship to retain his place at the school until his Grade 9 year. Raising these funds will mean that Kayden’s dream is kept alive, and will allow him to further blossom in the culturally rich and diverse environment of DBCS.” – Jadean Frame, Kayden’s mom.
Kayden was one of the lucky students to be chosen for the Sharks collaboration earlier this year. This was due to his talent for song and dance. As he has progressed, he has been earning more solo performances. A great accomplishment within the choir.
“Raising the funds to keep Kayden and our families dream alive in staying at DBCS is so very important to us so that he can continue his studies in a school where he continues to blossom and is able to shine and show his true character, his love and appreciation for music and his destiny is undeniable and we would just love to see his life go to greater heights to which he is completely capable of.”
If you would like to support his dream, you can donate towards Kayden’s next few years by direct deposit in his name with the school. Below are the banking details should you wish to deposit directly against his name.
