School spirit just keeps booming from South Africa, directed at the Springboks in the hopes of offering continued inspiration during the Rugby World Cup.
South Africa (16 October 2023) – The Northwood School in Durban North have added their voices to the cheers being sent to the Springboks. The boy’s school performed Shosholoza and everyone joined in. The performance gave us goosebumps.
Northwood School is a secondary school based in Durban North that has both day-to-day schooling and provides boarding for students from outside the Durban North area. The young men that enrol in the school have a large offering of education and sporting programmes.
The entire school came together to sing Shosholoza for the Springboks. Armed with drums, their powerful voices and endless amounts of gees, the young men added their voices to the growing support for the Springboks. So many school children, young and older, have been adding their cheers, war cries and more to the messages being sent to France for the Springboks.
“When our boys find their voices, combined with WCR spirit, a little magic happens!
Today saw Northwood turn green and gold as our Squires and Knights showed their support and indelible ‘gees’! We are indeed Stronger Together! Go Bokke!!!”
After watching last night’s game, we know these messages are getting through; the Springboks are fighting tooth and nail to make us all proud!
