Presleys Nightclub in Boksburg, Gauteng has done a spot of spring cleaning and shared the lost and found contents online; Facebook users are giggling but also a little puzzled by all the car keys.
Boksburg, South Africa (04 January 2024) – Most people have had that one night where they took it too far and lost a bank card, a wallet, a favourite pair of sunnies or even a set of car keys. In the best cases, these items are found again and in the worst, you then have to cancel cards and start again. Presleys, a nightclub in Boksburg, shared the contents of years of lost and found items that have gone unclaimed.
The post has earned hundreds of laughs but left many asking the question as to how people who lost their keys got home. There are a lot of keys in the collection!
Aside from the keys, found items include glasses, wallets, bank cards, identity cards, medical aid cards and so much more.
What really got us giggling was some of the commenters wondering if they had items in the pile. A guy who lost his keys 20 years ago was very curious if they were in the pile.
Another commenter joked that this was the reason why the local home affairs and traffic department was always so busy.
So if you have ever lost an item at the nightclub, its likely sitting there waiting for you to collect it, even after all these years.
