A video featuring a former Kulula flight attendant has gone viral with his hilarious take on a South African safety demonstration.
South Africa (9 January 2017) – The video which was uploaded yesterday by Abu Kad, has already had 90 000 views and doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
And the hilarious announcer, who is quickly becoming well-known, is just as surprised with the public’s reaction.
Adrian Thomas, the former flight attendant who was in the announcer seat, was originally filmed back in August 2013 but unexpectedly found himself being tagged all over social media since yesterday.
The talented comedian left the flight company in 2013 and now works in the motor industry for McCarthy in Sandton.
But it seems that social media users want Thomas back in flight… or at least on stage as they have all commented on how much they enjoyed the performance, as well as adding in their own awesome in-flight funny moments.
Vanessa Naidoo commented: “A talented comedian since our school days Adrian Thomas 🙂 therewas neva a dull moment during lessons.”
Elizabeth Francis van Eck added: “Ja well no fine. We have lift off. Up up and away. What a way to fly. You go Adrian Thomas Kulula.com at its best.”
Aziza Bassa said: “Adrian Thomas we miss u man! Come back to this”
Emily T. Fernandez said: “Kulula has the best inflight announcements. 😂 The one time we landed in Cape Town they said ‘Welcome to Mauritius’!”
Joulan Pillay stated: “LOL… on the one flight the pilot sang “Hallelujah ” for us when we landed because of the bad turbulance!”
